Phyllis Avidan Louke*, an Altus Artist, is principal flute with Oregon Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra and Oregon Symphonic Band, Music Director of Rose City Flute Choir, and an active chamber musician.  She teaches privately, adjudicates and freelances in Portland, Oregon.

Ms. Louke, a member of ASCAP, has been arranging and composing for the flute since 1990.  Her arrangements and compositions have been winners and finalists in the annual National Flute Association Newly Published Music Competition. Her music is published by ALRY Publications, Falls House Press, Nourse Wind Publications, Fabulous Flute Music Company, and Theodore Presser Company.

FLUTE PEDAGOGY WORKSHOP
Wednesday, August 8th, 9:00am to 3:00pm
Las Vegas, Nevada  (held the day before NFA Convention at the same location)
 This participatory Pedagogy Workshop will present time-tested teaching techniques using
Flute 101, Flute 102, and The Flute Scale Book.  Bring your flute and a music stand.

Registration Fee:   $65  ($50 for registrations received by July 1st)
