Summer Flute Lesson Schedule 2009

This summer, I will be teaching one or two days a week, depending on everyone’s schedules.  The weeks I’ll be available are listed below.  Please select the week(s) that you would like to schedule a lesson, and email the dates to me at phyllislouke@gmail.com along with schedule preference for day(s) of the week and morning or afternoon time slot.  Also, if you have a specific time preference, please let me know.  Students continuing lessons during the summer will be given preference in my Fall Schedule.

Summer Flute Choir Available
For students interested in having a fun ensemble experience, in addition to regular individual weekly lessons, there will be a 90 minute time slot available in my schedule for students with 2+ years of playing experience.  We will work on fun flute choir literature and also use bass and alto flutes, when instrumentation is called for.  Flute Choir will meet twice monthly during the summer and will be scheduled in either late afternoon or early evening.  Cost for Summer Flute Choir will be $100, payable by June 6th.  A minimum of 5 students is needed to hold the class.  Flute Choir Rehearsals are meant to supplement regular private lessons, not to replace them.  Rehearsals will be either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, at either 3:30-5:00pm or 7:00-8:30pm. 

Summer Teaching Schedule begins the week of June 15, 2009: 

JUNE SCHEDULE:  weeks of June *15th, 22nd, *29th

JULY SCHEDULE:  weeks of July *6th, *27th

AUGUST SCHEDULE:  weeks of August *3rd, *17th (except Monday), 24th, 31st

SCHOOL YEAR SCHEDULE:

My School Year Schedule Starts on Tuesday, September 8, 2009.  I will be teaching four days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday).  My teaching studio is in my home on Cooper Mountain, in southwest Beaverton, Oregon. Current studio hours are from 1:00-5:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and from 9:00-noon on Saturday mornings.

Tuition rates for weekly lessons will be as follows: 
                              30 minutes               $25.00/lesson
                              45 minutes               $35.00/lesson
                              60 minutes               $45.00/lesson

For less than weekly lessons, add $5 per lesson to the above lesson rates.
